Gordon
Runge has played a key role behind-the-scenes
at House & Home with Lynda Reeves for seven
years and is a contributor to the development
and merchandising of the House & Home: Style
for Living products available through the Hudson’s
Bay Company.
Now in front of the camera for the first time,
Gord and his partner in crime, Cameron MacNeil,
take a radical design approach to one room in
Lynda’s house in every episode, with surprising
reactions.
Gord has had a passion for art, design and
antiques since his childhood in Ottawa. Before
his position at H&H, he worked for a prominent
auction house, studied art and design at UCLA
and the New York School of Interior Design;
co-owned a vintage clothing store with his wife
Cathy, and worked as a prop stylist.
When it comes to decorating, Gord urges viewers
to keep it fun, experimental, and not to take
it all too seriously — “keep it
real and be true to yourself.” |
